Shizue Kishi
received B.A. from International Christian University, Tokyo
in 1974, and received her M.S. in Advertising (1979) and Ph.D.
in Communications (1983) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Her publications on advertising media and communication effects
of advertising appeared in Journal of Marketing Research, Journal
of Advertising Research, Japan Journal of Marketing, and Bulletin
of Nikkei Advertising Research Institute. She was the President
of Japan Association of Consumer Studies in 1996, and has been
on the board of directors of Japan Academy of Advertising since
1995.
