Prabu David is Associate Professor, School of Journalism and Communication at The Ohio State University. His research focuses on media and cognition. He studies the effects of interface design on human-computer interaction. His current research is on the role of motivation and goals in hypermedia interactions. Among other journals, he has published in Journal of Communication, Human Communication Research, American Journal of Psychology, and Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly. He teaches courses in visual communication, web design, and human-computer interaction. Before returning to the academy, he worked in marketing and advertising research.
