Jef I. Richards
The University of Texas at Austin

Jef Richards holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication, a J.D., and a B.S. in Photography. His research focuses on public policy issues related to marketing communications, including issues emerging from new technologies. He is author of a book on deceptive advertising, and articles that have appeared in law, advertising, and marketing journals. He has served as Webmaster for the American Academy of Advertising and co-Webmaster for the Advertising Division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. Dr. Richards currently is Chairman of the University of Texas Advertising Department.
