Jongpil
Hong received his Ph.D. in Advertising from The University of
Texas at Austin in 1998. He is currently assistant professor
of School of Mass Communication at Ewha Womans University in
Seoul, Korea. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses
in interactive advertising, advertising management, media planning
and advertising psychology. He also works with Cheil Communications
Inc. in Korea as advising professor. His work has appeared in
the Journal of Advertising Research and Proceedings
of the American Academy of Advertising. His primary research
interests are interactive advertising, advertising media planning,
copytesting and consumer behavior.
