Heejin
Kim is assistant professor of Mass Communication at Kyungwon
University in SungNam, Korea. She worked as senior researcher
of Strategic Marketing Institute of Deahong communications which
was associated with DDBN. She also worked for Seoul D'Arcy (DMB&B)
and Deahong as media consultant.
She
received BA from Yonsei university, Seoul in 1985, and received
M.A. & Ph.D. in Advertising from the University of Texas at
Austin in 1989 and 1994 respectively. Her primary research interests
are media exposure distributions, advertising effectiveness,
industrial structure of advertising media, integrated marketing
communication, and Internet advertising. Her work has appeared
in the Journal of Advertising Research, Proceedings
of the American Academy of Advertising, and in a number
of major Korean advertising, public relations, and broadcasting
journals.
