David W.
Schumann is the Associate Dean for Research and Technology in
the College of Business Administration at the University of
Tennessee. He is also a Professor of Marketing in the Department
of Marketing, Logistics and Transportation. Dr. Schumann's research
interests center on issues concerning marketing communications,
with specific focus on attitude formation and persuasion. His
work has been published extensively in the leading marketing,
advertising, and social psychology scientific journals. He is
a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and has
served as President of the Society for Consumer Psychology (Division
23 of the American Psychological Association).
