Chang-Hoan
Cho is an assistant professor of advertising at the University
of Florida. Previously he taught advertising at the College
of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
(1999 - 2001). He received the Bachelor of Sciences degree in
May 1992 from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also received
the Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications
in December 1994 from the same institution. In May 1999, Chang-Hoan
Cho received the Ph.D. degree in advertising from The University
of Texas at Austin. His doctoral dissertation proposal, entitled
"How Advertising Works on the WWW: Copytesting and Audience
Processing," won the 1998 American Academy of Advertising's
Doctoral Dissertation Award. He also won two consecutive awards
from @d:tech, the leading conference and expo on digital marketing
and advertising ('97 & '98 @d:tech Scholarship Awards).
His current research interests include Internet advertising,
advertising media and international advertising. His work has
appeared in the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising,
Journal of Advertising Research, Proceedings of Conference of
the American Academy of Advertising, Association for Education
in Journalism and Mass Communication, and several Korean publications.
