Dr.
Bruce G. Vanden Bergh is a professor in the Department of Advertising
where he has been on the faculty since 1978. Dr. Vanden Bergh
has been the chair of the graduate affairs and chair of the
department. He has been active in academic and professional
advertising organizations and has served various roles in these
groups. He was the President of the American Academy of Advertising
in 1995. He is a frequent participant in the accrediting process
for programs in journalism and mass communication.
Dr. Vanden
Bergh has published widely in academic journals and has co-authored
two books in the field - Advertising Campaign Strategy
and Advertising Principles. He has served on the editorial
boards of the Journal of Advertising and Journalism
and Mass Communication Quarterly.
